Diana Wilson
Founder
As a professional educator with almost 20 years’ experience, and one who has held highly demanding teaching roles from that of Classroom Teacher to Assistant Headteacher, the golden thread that ran through all I did was my innate desire to help others, young and old.
Driven by my lifelong passion to assist people to achieve their goals through positive change, I added to my professional teaching qualification, qualifying as a Psychodynamic Counsellor and Life and Performance Coach with the Centre for Coaching.
In December 2019, I took the decision to move, full-time, into coaching and leadership development. What led to this was me finally embracing the consistent feedback received over the years from colleagues, clients, students, family and friends, such as:
‘I find it easy to talk to you’; ‘I feel calm around you’; ‘I feel secure with you’; ‘You actually listen like you're really interested'; 'You were born to do this.'
These comments resonated with me because I not only cared but I was indeed interested in each individual and their organisation. I have in my various roles always coached people and helped them use their own resilience and available support structures to achieve long-lasting change.

DW Coaching, founded 2020
Name
Registered business name is DW Coaching Limited. So called after the founder, Diana Wilson. The name shall remain as such in line with the banking account created and operated under said name.

To deliver exceptional cognitive behavioural coaching that strictly adheres to the EMCC Global Code of Ethics for Coaches, Mentors and Supervisors. Thus, DW Coaching is firmly committed to practicing professionally and responsibly at all times to ensure we are operating from a place of excellence
Staff
DW Coaching operates using an affiliate coaching model. DW Coaching coaches and affiliate coaches are robustly vetted through a ‘safer recruitment process’. Approved coaches will have met the following criteria to work with DW Coaching:
Qualifications: Accreditation, hold a diploma in coaching or a certified qualification in their specialist modality such as Executive Coaching, Life Coaching, Stress Management Coaching, Wellness Coaching, Relationship Coaching
Training: Trained to a very high standard by the reputable Centre for Coaching, Faculty of Coaching Psychology; British Psychological Society approved
Practice Hours: Hold a minimum of 100 practice hours
Membership of a Professional Body: Full membership with a reputable professional body such as the Association for Coaching (AC), International Coach Federation (ICF), European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC), Association for Professional Executive Coaching and Supervision (APECS), International Society for Coaching Psychology (ISCP) or the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), to competently practice as a coach
Supervision: Are in regular supervision with a trained supervisor that is a suitably experienced practitioner, for at least 1hr 30minutes every six weeks, commensurate with their experience
Insured to Practice: Insured to practice holding both Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance
Ethical Practice: Adhere to The Global Code of Ethics (TGCE) or similar code of ethics as per their professional membership body
Data Protection Act (2018) and GDPR: Evidenced the importance of GDPR and the necessity to secure and store clients’ notes in accordance with the Data Protection Act (2018)
Coaching Environment: The ability to appropriately host online and in person sessions free from any visual and/or noise distractions that may interfere with the coaching experience
CPD: Committed to continuous professional development to keep their coaching fresh, innovative and current
DW Coaching Governing Bodies
DW Coaching is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office to observe the practice of confidentiality
Bound by the Global Code of Ethics for Coaches, Mentors and Supervisors
Full member of the Association for Coaching
Affiliate member of the ISCP – International Society for Coaching Psychology
Professional Indemnity and Public liability insured
Coaches are enhanced DBS checked
Safeguarding
DW Coaching is committed to the safeguarding of all clients
Coaches will not practice outside their experience or level of competence
Coaches will at the point of contracting, make clear that sessions are strictly confidential, and that confidentiality will only be breached in extreme circumstances such as if the client is a danger to themselves or another
Alteration to the Constitution
This constitution will not be altered in any way or rescinded without careful consideration and then only in line with governance and in the best interests of DW Coaching clients
